Warm weather here I come

Since we are going to Texas in just a few days, Mama dressed me in some awesome summer clothes to see how they fit!

I even got to wear my new sandals : )

I can't believe it's only a few days until Grammy, Popeye, Mama, and I leave to go to...

Early morning visits

When I woke Daddy and Mama up to eat this morning at 4:45 I didn't feel like going back to bed right away. Mama decided we should go visit Miss Cheryl since she was at work just a few miles away from us!

She is the sweetest lady! She snuggled with me forever! I told Mama that we need to go visit her more often. I will have to make sure I wake up early and stay awake more often : )

Daddy is home!!!

Daddy hung out with Uncle Mike and some friends at their shack this weekend. I missed him so much, but he's home now, yay!!!

First trip to the lake!

Mama, Grammy, Popeye, and I went to HooDoo point tonight for dinner! It was kind of chilly and started off a bit rocky because I was a little cranky, but it got better : ) 

Here is a cute picture of Auntie Stacy, Grammy, and me. We were swinging on the swing that Popeye made a long time ago! Apparently that swing used to be at Grammy and Popeye's house, but it's now at the lake. 

I can't wait to spend more time at the lake this summer! ...hopefully it'll be a little warmer next time!

Daddy and I were hanging out this morning before he went to work, it was so nice. He sure is a good daddy : ) I sure do love him and all he does for Mama and me, he works so hard to make sure that we have everything we need. 

Mama and I have been just hanging out at the house today. Nothing exciting happening around here. Sounds like Mama wants to take a trip to Starbucks to get a coffee a little later. Woo hoo! We get to leave the house!

I can't seem to do belly time without that kitty! I'm okay with that though...she's my buddy! 

Mama and I are headed to Grammy and Popeye's house tonight for dinner! We are going to bring some home for Daddy because he is stuck at work tonight and can't come with : ( 

Daddy is such a nice guy!

Daddy and I had some bonding time this morning : ) Daddy brought me into the living room with him and let Mama sleep...what a nice guy that Daddy of mine is! We watched a movie on Netflix together, it was so fun hanging out with Daddy. I sure miss him when he has to go to work, but I understand why he has to go...I'm one expensive little fella!

Daddy left for work and I went to bed, again! Mama is pretty boring some times! 

I did hear her say earlier though that her and I are going to pick up some pictures she had developed later today. I can't wait to see them! 

Panicky Mama

Mama started to panic this morning for no reason! I decided that I would be a nice guy and give them some extra sleep...I forced myself to sleep for 6-7 hours in a row instead of my usual 3-4. Apparently, this was not as nice of thing to do as I thought it would be...Mama woke up panicking this morning. I guess when she first looked at me she even got worried that I wasn't breathing since I had been sleeping for so long. Oops! Sorry Mama!

She decided, after realizing that I WAS breathing, that she needed to wake me up to change my butt and feed me. I was so nice and cozy too, darn it!!! 

Owell...after some cuddles and another diaper change, I went right back to bed! Hey, don't give me any crap...I stayed up for a good hour and a half/two hours after she woke me up! 

Hopefully Mama has something fun planned for me when I wake up from my nap!

Off to Grammy and Popeye's

...for my first OVERNIGHT trip!!! Yay! Mama is having a slight panic attack, but she's excited for me too. She just says it is going to be weird for me to not be there. Mama is excited to get some sleep though...apparently she thinks she needs more than 3 hours of sleep in a row, the crazy lady, 3 hours is enough! Wish her luck on actually getting some sleep.

It's a photo shoot kind of day

Today started a little crazy! Mama and I slept in until 930...well, that's after getting up at 430am and 730am for food...anyhow, after getting up Mama fed me and changed me. Then, she realized she needed to do laundry because one of her favorite diapers was dirty and we had a photo shoot today that she wanted it for! Dang! She got it washed and dried in time though.

After stuff was in the wash it was time for this guy to get a bath so I could be nice and clean for my pictures! Mama wrapped me in this HUGE pumpkin towel to keep me warm after bath time, it was great!

Kristine from NK Deppe Photography was amazing and gave me, Daddy, and Mama a sneak peek at some of the pictures! I don't want to give too many of them away, but here are a few...

I can't wait to see how the rest of them turned out! I make one darn cute model, don't I?!

Just another day

Today was a pretty boring day. Poor Daddy had to work ALL DAY : ( so it was just me and Mama hanging out.

This is what we did for part of the day

Today, Mama even listened to everyone's advice about napping when I nap! 

After we napped and Mama showered, we met a very nice lady named Paige to buy some diapers from! One of them has owls on it, it's so cute : ) maybe Mama will show you a picture of me wearing them one day. 

After we met Paige, we ran home for a little bit and then ran back into town to visit Grammy and Popeye. 

Grammy propped me up on the couch and tried to give me a toy to play with...I didn't really understand what to do with it, but I held on to it for a while. That counts as playing, right?!

When Mama and I got home I tried really hard to stay awake until Daddy got home, but I just couldn't do it. I fell asleep in Mama's arms, again. 

There she goes again...

I can't even get through my 3am snack without Mama putting me down and grabbing her phone to take a picture!

At least now I get to show off my cute diaper and tell you how it's my first whole night in cloth diapers!

Mama wants me to tell you that Grammy and Popeye stopped by last night and brought their scale along...they weighed me and I'm a whopping 11lbs already! Maybe I need to cut back on these 3am snacks and let Mama and Daddy get some more sleep...nah!!!

Morning time messes

This morning started off a little rough for Mama. She tried getting Daddy up when I started fussing, but he was sound asleep. Luckily we all fell back asleep. Then, I woke up screaming "I want food! I want food!" and Daddy was in the other room and didn't hear me so Mama had to get up. She went to mix up a bottle of formula for me and spilled powder all over her blanket : ( she then ran to the kitchen to grab a different bottle because the one she had was covered in formula powder and wasn't mixed properly since she had spilled half of it...she then realized that she needed to wash a bottle just to feed me! All the while, I'm hanging out in the cradle ever-so-politely, of course, reminding her that I WANT FOOD!

After all the eating, burping, and diaper changing Mama got me dressed and then gave me some belly time! I love belly time! I hope to learn to roll over one of these days during belly time...not too soon though, Mama and Daddy don't want me to grow up too quickly! 

Ginger decided she liked the idea of belly time too...

She's a little confused though about what BELLY time is, she's on her side...funny little kitty! 

Time for bed!

We had a great visit with Grandma Brenda tonight! I wore my 'Off to Grandma's' shirt...it just seemed fitting : )

After we left Grandma's, we ran to Target to pick some stuff up for Mama and Daddy. When we got home, I was STARVING! I let Mama and Daddy know in my usual way...screaming : )  and they fed me right away. I have to say though, they could have been a little faster! Daddy fed me and then cuddled with me for a little bit before he turned me into a burrito and tried to put me to bed.

I was okay in this amazing swaddle blanket for a little bit, but then I decided that what I REALLY wanted, was to cuddle with Mama! She's just so warm all the time : ) I fell fast asleep on Mama's chest and she laid me in my cradle.

Daddy has the day off!

This morning started out like usual...Mom got up with me when I alerted her to my need for food with my amazing crying voice. She set me down like the big meanie that she is while she went and got a bottle ready for me...

Once she FINALLY picked me back up and fed me I was so relieved and happy! She sure looks a little cranky though, doesn't she?!

When Daddy FINALLY got up, he played with me for a bit. It was so much fun! 

It was so much fun, in fact, that it tuckered me right out!

While Daddy and I were playing, Mama had time to finish up washing all of my cute diapers that I fit in right now! I can't wait until I get a little bigger and have even more to wear!

 I love when they are all nice and ready for me to wear. These icky disposables are just not fun!

Mama was crazy today and put her favorite diaper on me, even though she knows that I can pee right through it! ...silly mama! So, after a wardrobe change, some more food, and a surprise visit from Popeye (this is what I call one of my grandpas), I decided a nap was in order.

Man, Mama sure does get annoying with that camera of hers! She won't even leave me alone when I'm sleeping, sheesh lady! What's a little fella got to do to get some alone time around here?!

I'm so excited! After nap time I get to do some running around with Mommy and Daddy and then we are going to visit Grandma Brenda! 

Beautiful Day. Fussy Baby.

Today was an absolutely beautiful day out! Mama took me outside for a little while to hang out on the deck with her while Daddy and his friend Abe worked on digging the third tier of the garden. I can't wait for the gardens to be done! Once the gardens are growing like crazy, Mama and Daddy can start making food for me! I can't eat "real" food for a while yet, of course,  but they can start making and freezing some to be stocked up for when I can.

Speaking of food, I was a little hungry hungry hippo today and ate like crazy! I would eat a little, then sleep a little, wake up, get cranky, eat a little more, sleep, wash, rinse, and repeat. Mommy and Daddy were going a little crazy because they weren't really sure what the deal was...heck, I'm not even sure what the deal was! I think my belly was hurting so I kept thinking I was hungry when I really wasn't.

Mama dressed me in this adorable outfit today and thank goodness it was easy to put on and take off! With all of the diapers I went through today, it would have really been annoying for Mama and Daddy if it hadn't been so easy! Mama took took this picture when I was taking a nap after a long day out in the warm weather...not to worry though! Mama put the pack n play up on the deck to shield me from the wind and sun and she even had a hat for me to wear when I wasn't in the pack n play, she sure is smart : )

Grammy came to visit me TWICE today! It was wonderful! I sure love that lady. She makes me feel so warm and snuggley that I usually fall asleep when she's holding me. Today I was able to stay awake for at least one picture...
