Grass tickles my feet!

We took a break at a rest area and I got to put my feet in the grass! At first I didn't like it. Every time my feet would touch the grass, I curled my toes and pulled my feet back onto the blanket! After I got used to it though, I kinda liked it!

I just love Mama s so much that yesterday I just wanted her to hold me all the time. She kept saying that she wished we had the swing here so that I could hang out in there...little does she know that I wouldn't have been happy in there anyway! She finally found something that was acceptable and I actually fell asleep in it! She has this baby carrier that she put on and wore me around the house! It was so nice being snuggled right up against Mama! 

...of course, she had to break the rules and put me facing outwards (apparently I'm not supported to face that way until I'm older) because I like to be able to see everything!

Naps with Popeye

Today was a good day. I hung out at Uncle Rory and Uncle Brent's house all day. It was SO nice to not get in a car even one time today! The ride here was great and all, but I am so over being in my carseat!

While I was still napping on the couch, Mama, Uncle Rory, and Grammy ran to the store. Look what Mama got me for when I get bigger!

I also got to hang out with my cousin Emma today. Isn't she great?!

Missouri to Oklahoma to Texas

Today was another day of firsts!

My first time in the Mei Tai...

...Mama wore me down to breakfast so that she could eat easier than having to hold me. I was napping, again, so I was totally okay with it...if I had been awake, I may have gotten a little cranky.

My first time in Oklahoma...Grammy said crossing the Oklahoma border made me grow a halo! 

...that Grammy of mine is kind of silly sometimes.

My first time in Texas...

...I'm so glad we're almost to our destination! I'm sick of this carseat!!!

My first bath in the big bathtub. I usually have a small tub with a comfy hammock for me to lay in! This was also the first bath that Grammy gave me! 

...I can't wait to get to Uncle Rory and Uncle Brent's house! I can g back to wearing my cute diapers! 

Speaking of diapers. I made a gigantic mess today and Mama had to do some diaper laundry when we got to the hotel tonight...oops!

Popeye says we only have a 4 hour drive tomorrow. I'm so glad. The last few days have been looong. 10 hours in the car the yesterday and 9 hours today! This guy is definitely ready to be done with the car for a while. I've have been really good and behaved, but if we don't get there soon...I may just have to freak out! 

I can't wait to get there and meet everyone!

Road trip!!!

Grammy and Popeye came over EARLY to pick Mama and me up for our trip to Texas. I mean really early...I'm talking 4:30am! I'm still pretty cute that early though, huh?!
